Pathways to your Future

For Students in Grades 9 to 12

The program focuses on providing students with planning strategies for transitioning to post secondary opportunities including college, university, apprenticeships and the workplace. Student preparation through planning, research and good choices can go far in reaching long-term goals. M3 Making Mindfulness Matter project will be embedded in weekly session encouraging positive well-being for our students. 

Areas covered in this group-facilitated program include identifying strengths, needs, learning styles, self-advocacy, understanding their IEP accomodations and supports, goal setting, transferrable skills, working environment and planning strategically for the future; whether it be post-secondary education, apprenticeships or working.

Students will learn about rights and responsibilities, accessing accommodations at post-secondary and information about post-secondary institutions in Ontario.

Guest speakers will share important resources for both youth & their parents.

This program is being offered as a blended in-person and online program through a synchronous learning environment using Zoom Communications Technology.
